I am a native southern California. I live in Scripps Ranch with my husband and son (14) and daughter (10).
How long have you worked at CSUSM?

What brought you to CSUSM?
A colleague asked me to interview for a position as a summer supervision at the CSUSM adult speech-language clinic
What is the biggest challenge in your job?
Getting placements for the graduate students out in the community
What is the greatest reward of your job?
Having the students tell me that they loved their clinical experiences/placements out in the community
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I lived in Costa Rica for 1/2 year when I was 19 years old.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
Traveling, running, spending time with family and friends

What is your short-term goal?
Finishing my Doctor of Clinical Science (ClinScD) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program by August 2019
What is your long-term goal?
Retire
What is your favorite movie, food, book, hobbies?
Currently, I am too busy with work, school, and kids’ schedules to do much in the way of hobbies but I try to read and garden when I have some downtime.
What would you like to do when you retire?
Travel
