Dr. Katherine Hayden invited to present QUEST CT in New Zealand

Dr. Katherine Hayden, Professor Emerita in the School of Education at California State University, who will be co-presenting Quality Understanding and Engagement for Students and Teachers on Computational Thinking (QUEST CT) with Dr. Youwen Ouyang, Department Co-Chair Computer Science and Information Systems in New Zealand this upcoming October.  

ULearn is New Zealand’s premier conference for learning and teaching run by CORE Education. As stated on their website, uLearn “is a highly relevant, inclusive, and practical conference that caters to educators from the early years, primary, secondary and tertiary sectors. Gain insight from the latest thought leaders, investigate and analyze best practice and enjoy fantastic opportunities to get new ideas, and gain more understanding of the latest developments in teaching technologies.”

Dr. Katherine Hayden has more than 25 years in public education, first as teaching in the classroom and then later teaching educational technology to pre-service candidates. Her areas of research include professional development of teachers, online learning and integration of computational thinking in classroom curricula.
