The School of Nursing at Cal State San Marcos has been planning a project for the past month that they hope will show their gratitude to community partners for National Nurses Week 2019!
Today, nursing students, faculty and staff are working together to assemble 160 gift baskets full of healthy treats, information and health related items that will be hand-delivered by students next to community health agencies next week.
“Many hands make light work,” says Interim Director, Pamela Kohlbry. “Operation Gift Basket comes from the need to reach out and thank our partners. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn the professional importance and value of being grateful.”
Stay tuned for more great news as this appreciation project continues!
