This summer, the Assistance League of Inland North County donated $35,000 to support nursing student scholarships at Cal State San Marcos.
Assistance League is an all-volunteer non-profit that raises funds through their thrift and consignment shop and supports many community programs.
One of the goals of the Community Service Program is “to address the critical present and future need for skilled nurses in area hospitals by granting scholarships to students currently enrolled in nursing degree programs at California State University San Marcos and Palomar College”.
This is not the first time the Assistance League supported nursing students at Cal State San Marcos and the School of Nursing truly appreciates all their support.
